What a wonderful Memorial Day! We went to the zoo with Grandpa Bud and Grandma Gail.
The weather was perfect...a little warm with a great breeze and Sunny!! It was so nice out...it happened to be everyone else's idea to go to the zoo, too!
Our visit to the zoo was a good preview to our upcoming visit to Disney this summer! We never thought we'd be the parents who had our child on a "leash". But, with Gabriel around, we needed one! It turns out the little backpack is awesome! It gives Gabriel the freedom that he needs, and gives us the reassurance that he is still with us!
With that being said, enjoy the pictures!

Samuel's Baptism
It's hard to believe that Samuel's Big Day...his baptism...has come and gone already! It was a beautiful day and a beautiful service! His name means "God heard," and we certainly know God heard our intent to raise him in a home that loves and worships Him. May he come to know and love Jesus at an early age.
It's wonderful to know that we not only have an incredible church family, but also incredible friends and family who also love and support us! We had a very relaxing day celebrating Samuel's special day! One more note...it's so special that Daddy has been able to baptize all 4 of our kids!

Adriana's Field Day at School!
Adriana had the privilege of experiencing her first Field Day at school, (and so did we, I might add!) It was a full day of fun and games out in the beautiful sun. She was so excited! One of the reasons may have been that she had a chance to relay with her best friend, Grace! There were so many neat games for the kids. The events that we were able to see Adriana perform in were: the "passing water from cup to cup" game, a relay race, and a tire rolling/sack race. It was fun to see the kids enjoying themselves so much! Adriana asked me to use the same music for this as we did for the water park! Check out the pictures and look for her "Pippy Longstocking hair"!
Great Friends/Great Buddies!
Very soon very dear friends of ours are moving to another state. Although we are sad to see them move, we are also very excited for them. They are an incredible family and they have been such a blessing to us. We are excited to see how God is going to use them in Virginia! Just a word to Jennifer, Steve, Sarah, Abby, and Drew....we love you all and are praying for you as you enter yet another new chapter in your lives. God has blessed us with your friendship and we will always treasure that. To everyone else...here is a very small glimpse into the bond that our kids have made with each other! If any of you have had the opportunity to talk to Nathaniel over the last 2 years, you probably heard about his "Buddy Drew". Enjoy the pictures!

Samuel Eli's first solid feeding! (3 & 3/4 months old!)

Make photo slide shows at www.OneTrueMedia.com
It's so hard to believe that it's
time to start Samuel on solids! He has
actually become quite the little "pro" at
eating his rice cereal...after only 4 feedings!
Everyone always told us to enjoy these days
because they go so fast. With Adriana, we
didn't really believe them. Now, with Samuel
being the 4th, we can't believe how true that
statement is!

A day in the life of Adriana and Nathaniel's role playing!
Today, the first thing Adriana asked after getting
off the bus was, "Now can we make a crown?"
Nathaniel and Gabriel, naturally wanted to make a "Prince
crown", too! The outfit would not be complete, though, without
the perfect "ball gown" for Adriana and the perfect "cape" for Nathaniel.
Gabriel was all too busy not cooperating!
In two weeks, Samuel will be baptized. We are very
excited for his special day! Much to our surprise, we
received a package in the mail today.
In the package was a very beautiful, very special,
homemade outfit made by Grandma Jo! She
did such a beautiful job! This is just a preview...more
pictures to come after May 25!
Thank you, Grandma Jo!!!

After a very cold soccer game, we
thought we were going to go home
and warm up! Nice thought!!! We
pulled in the church parking lot
and realized that the "Awesome
Addisville" grammar school youth
group was having a car wash! Of course,
we had our car washed. Not only that,
we also helped out! The kids had a
GREAT time! Did I mention that it
was very cold outside!?!?! By the way...
yes, that is an ambulance! The two emt's
saw what was going on and thought it
would be neat for the kids to help them
clean it! They also let the kids go inside!
This is the ONE time, I don't mind them
being in an ambulance!!
