Wow! After a year of saying she wasn't ready, Adriana actually wanted to get her ears pierced.
All she needed was a little bit of re-assurance to overcome the fear (although the pictures show she never quite overcame the fear), a momentary pinch of pain, and she finally realized how wonderful the world of piercings can be.
Of course, the story she told her grandmas was a little different....she told them that "Mommy made her do it"!!!
Ah...It hurts to be beautiful!

I remember getting my ears pierced when I was 6 years old and I can sure relate to the pictures:-) I'm going to keep Anika away from this video a little while longer. She cries when I even comb her hair -- too much beauty, too much pain:-)
