Final destination....TEXAS!!!!!

Whew! We finally made it to Texas! Our dear friends, Brooke and Jon were such gracious hosts. While we were there, we stayed quite busy. We had an incredible time reminiscing, laughing, swimming, and seeing the many sights of Dallas/Ft. Worth! The kids had a great time getting to know each other better. In fact, not a day goes by (since we've been home) that our kids ask to see Bennet and Nathan!

Some of the many things we did and saw were: swimming, The Boy Scouts Museum, The American Girl Place, fishing, made homemade pizzas, saw where JFK was shot in Dallas (yikes), went to Ft. Worth and saw the cattle walking down the street, the kids did the maze featured in "The Amazing Race", rode a real and fake bull, and saw a rodeo! Obviously, we stayed quite busy!!!!

Brooke, Jon, Bennet, and Nathan, thank you all so very much for being such incredible hosts. We are so thankful for the opportunity to see all of you, stay with you, and enjoy so many memories with all of you. We love you all and miss you. Thank you, again!!!!

Enjoy the pictures....

What a great vacation. Nothing beats connecting with those old and dear friends. Just think of all the interesting stops you could make on your road trip out to visit us in Central CA!! :)

Oh, there could be tons of cool things to do and see on the way out to CA!! Maybe some day! Right now our car needs a HUGE break from any form of travel! Literally the day after we arrived home, the air conditioning broke in it! You never know, though. We'd love to see where you all call "home"!
