Nathaniel's Kindergarten field trip....

I had the pleasure of going on Nathaniel's field trip with him last week.  We had a great time.  It was at a local State Park.  While there, the three different classes rotated between three different areas of "fun".  One was learning about different items you'd find in the park, the different animals you might see, and then a walk to see different plants to stay away from or not worry about.  The second group was "organized play".  They learned all about worms and how they are actually useful.  Then, they had a chance to run and look for the different "worms" that were hiding in the grass (strings!).  Last, they had free play at the playground and then a snack!

We feel very fortunate to live near such a beautiful park.  There is always something to do there!
