Grandpa Bud and Grandma Gail's Fall visit...
We have been having a beautiful Fall. I love the turning of the leaves. The different, vibrant colors that are seen on so many different trees from a distance is like a beautiful painting. It was only a couple of weeks ago that Grandpa Bud and Grandma Gail were here to visit. Notice, no jackets, beautiful sunlight, no Adriana (she was at school!!)....We enjoyed a day outside checking out local historic spots, enjoying Grandpa and Grandma's company.
It's hard to believe that this was only a couple of weeks ago! Today, was a different story....we had a SNOW STORM!!!!!!! No kidding! An actual, mini blizzard in October! It was crazy! This is something I would have expected living in Michigan. Not here, though! None of the tv channels were even prepared to tell us about this! We were all expecting flurries. Instead, we had heavy, wet snow that kept coming all day long. To top off the eventful snow, our power went off for most of the day! What do you do when the power is off for most of the day and you have 4 kids? You get out of the house and go out for dinner! We ended up having a very cozy dinner at the Macaroni Grill! Goodbye dinner plans! :)
