Happy 150th Birthday to our church!!!!

It is such a unique blessing to be able to celebrate a church's 150 year Birthday! We, as a church, are celebrating throughout the year. The first way of celebrating was to have a Civil War Encampment on our front lawn. It took place last Sunday between our 2 services. It's special to our church because, apparently, our church took part in signing people up to fight in the Civil War. It took place in huge lawn near our church and 1,000 people signed up! You'll notice that Aaron actually took part in the festivities!!! He had just preached both services and the "group" asked if he wanted to role play with them! Can you pick him out?!?!?

Check out the blacksmith and notice the background!;)

The next event will be this weekend....a nice dinner/reception at a reception hall. In December, we're doing a living nativity! It's busy, yet very exciting! We thank God for 150 years of Service to Jesus Christ!

The background? Were you referring to the McDonalds in the Civil War scene or the men about to stab each other with bayonets? Both are pretty funny! :)
