We recently returned home from an extremely fun, extremely active, and extremely exhausting vacation! Our travels took us to D.C. for a few days, home for a couple of days (Jones Beach), Nashville for 3 days, Memphis for 1 1/2 days, and Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas for 4 days. We had an incredible time! On our first stop in Nashville, we hooked up with my parents and sister and brother-in-law (Heidi and Mark), and Ethan, Tyler, and baby-on-the-way (due in October)! While there, my Aunt Robin and Uncle Joe stopped by our hotel with their 4 girls. Plus, we visited Brooke's parents, Debbie and Jerry (good friends of my family). They have a gorgeous pool that they invited all of us to swim at. The kids had a ball! It was great to see everyone...especially with all that my Mom's been going through! After Nashville, we stopped by my very dear friend, Kim's house. She and her husband Jer have a beautiful little girl, Elise and are expecting another baby in November! It was awesome to see them and reconnect with them! Our ultimate destination was Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas to see another set of very dear friends of ours, Brooke and Jon and family. I had gone to visit them in January by myself. Aaron and I had asked Brooke and Jon if it would be okay for all of us to come out this summer. They graciously agreed! Again, we had such a good time and are thankful for all of the incredible relationships God has blessed us with!
As you can probably tell, Aaron and I love to take pictures. Therefore, we have a million of them. So, our vacation has been broken up into each "leg" of the trip! Enjoy...here's the first stop...Nashville, Tennessee!
