As I wrote earlier, my mom and dad just visited us. While they were here, my mom kept getting dizzy spells and had an upset stomach. She kept saying that it was her sinuses. After getting home it got worse. After everyone's concern, my mom finally called the doctor.
My mom and dad drove down to Northwestern University Hospital to see my mom's doctor. After an entire day of catscans, mri's, blood work, etc. They finally determined that she had a stroke while she was out visiting us.
The prayers are two fold. One: for healing for my mom's body and two: for the doctors to find out the cause of the stroke and the medicines to give her accordingly.
So far, to my knowledge, there is no damage from the stroke. That is a praise! This is definitely one of the times where it is very difficult to live far away from family. At least I know that prayer has no boundaries!
