Okay...I just got off the phone with my mom. She sounded great! She was admitted, officially, this morning. Apparently, the doctors are thinking that it may have been a type of medicine she's been taking that triggered her stroke. They took her off that medicine and are still evaluating her for what would be the right medicine for her.
My mom said that she feels great and the doctors are confident that she will be okay. Praise the Lord!
I am so grateful that the doctors were so persistent in finding out the root cause. They had to go through 2 MRI's to find the stroke. How wonderful to know that there are doctors out there who really do care about their patients.

I've been a bit behind in reading blogs so I was just catching up today. Please know that you and your mom are in my prayers -- how scary. I'm so glad that things seem to be going as well as can be expected!!!
